Temara

The past two Fridays have been spent in a wonderful haven called Temara.  Having been invited to couscous and the beach by my friends Soufiane and Khalid, I took the 8 bus from Rabat for a half hour ride down to the coastal neighbor city.  Khalid's mom prepared a huge and delicious couscous for us and we passed the hours playing guitar, singing, and playing video games.  In the late afternoon we went to the beach for more music, wading in the water, and playing frisbee.  In all, this has been the most comfortable and home-like situation since I arrived in Morocco.

This Friday I took my friends, Anna and Macarena, and a camera on my excursion.  Many of Khalid's brothers joined us for couscous and the beach.  This time we stayed late enough to watch the sunset and play many a game of "human pac-man", which was a game of endless tag.  Covered in sea air salt, we went home freezing and sandy, but relaxed.  Here are some pictures of our day:
