| Rick's Cafe in Casablanca. |
I never got around to talking about my quick trip to El Jadida on Saturday. El Jadida is a small city south of Casablanca along the Atlantic coast. My friends had left for El Jadida while I went to the beach on Friday, so we took an early train on Saturday to see it for the weekend. For the price of $7 we took the train for three hours (with a one hour lay over in Casablanca) to get to El Jadida. We spent our three hours sitting at a cafe on the beach, seeing the Portuguese city and cistern where Orson Wells filmed Othello, and eating a quick lunch before the evening train. Here are a few photos.

| The cistern now is just one partially flooded room, but the spotlight from above is amazing. This last photo is the reflection of the hole in the ceiling in the water on the floor. It is pristine. |
