More pictures

I have a few extra minutes this morning to send a message to all of you, so here are the few pictures I have taken so far before my camera died yesterday at Challa.  There are airport pictures for Nate, as well, though I couldn't take a picture at the Rabat airport because I was exhausted and it was dark and apparently if I had tried they would have stopped me.
Chicago O'Hare airport terminal.  The woman in red was yelling a lot on her phone.

Toronto airport.  I like this sculpture. You can walk through it, and on the far side is the kiosk where the boy in striped pajamas stole the train set.

This is Charles de Gualle (sp?) airport in Paris.  Bane of my existence.  All of those people at F49 went to Mauritius.

hmm....I hated Paris this time.

The Rabat MacDo.  Apparently they serve a McArabic, which is a burger on pita with special sauce.  I will have to try it one day, it is around the corner from school.

Our special guest at lunch.  Leah, the cats are everywhere you go.  It is adorable.

This is what you get when you order coffee.  Joe explained that when you order a coffee it will usually be a K-cup, which many people in the states are becoming accustomed to.  It is coffee in an individual package which is prepared like espresso.  Pretty good.  4 of us girls are baristas, so we are very intrigued by this discussion.  Joe says the coffee shop next to school is a traditional espresso bar.  Nice.  There is a saying here that between the cafe and the cafe is another cafe, and they really are everywhere.  But men sit outside of them and just stare at us.  A little awkward.

This is our personal balcony at school.  We are already anticipating many healthy conversations on this porch.  Over the flower boxes there are just rows and rows of houses with laundry hanging on strings.  A beautiful sight.

Our study room with all of the girls.  I will have to introduce them individually later.

A beautiful street sign.  Everything is bilingual.

Challa on the way inside.  A real castle.

The front gate to Challa

Some of the holy cats of Challa licking each others butts.

Have a nice day, America.  My camera is recharged, so I am ready to go and document my experiences.
